Nutrition consults
Everything you need to know prior to your first VISIT
what to expect at your nutrition consult
Starting your nutrition journey can be daunting—we want to take the guesswork out of the equation make your journey as stress-free as possible.
We begin our hour-long consult either in person at our Norman location or online. Our intake information will include a brief handout explaining how our process works as well as a questionnaire regarding past medical history, dietary restrictions and history, dietary goals, and work/home schedule.
a nutritionist’s scope of work
We feel that it is important for our clients to know exactly how a Nutritionist or Nutrition Coach is able to serve you.
First and foremost, Nutritionists are not able to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications. Nutritionists also cannot treat a specific condition or diagnosis—those of which who have a condition or diagnosis affecting their nutrition would be better suited with a Registered Dietitian.
However, Nutritionists can give nutritional advice, provide detailed meal plans, discuss the pillars of good nutrition with clients, and promote healthy living to generally healthy people.
